Backend Java Developer Junior/Mid

About the role

You will join a multidisciplinary team oriented towards building robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions:

What you'll do

• Backend Solution Development: You will design and implement architectures based on Microservices with Spring Boot and the latest features of Java V21.
• Service Design and Integration: You will define, document, and consume REST APIs under Open API / Swagger standards.
• Code Quality and Testing: You will guarantee software reliability and maintainability through unit and integration testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Continuous Delivery Culture: You will manage continuous integration and deployment flows using Git, Maven, and Jenkins pipelines.
• Containerized Environment Management: You will package and orchestrate services in modern environments supported by Docker and Kubernetes.
• NoSQL Persistence: You will model, query, and optimize document-oriented data repositories with MongoDB.
• AI Adoption in the Development Cycle: You will actively integrate Artificial Intelligence tools such as Copilot and AI agents to optimize efficiency and technical quality in your day-to-day work.
• Agile Collaboration: You will participate in ceremonies and continuous delivery iterations applying Agile Methodologies.

What we're looking for

• 2/3 years of experience
• Experience in backend development with Java V21 and the Spring Boot ecosystem focused on Microservices.
• REST API (Open API / Swagger).
• Experience in test automation with JUnit and Mockito.
• Proficiency with code lifecycle tools: version control with Git, packaging with Maven, and continuous integration with Jenkins.
• Experience working with containers and orchestration through Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Practical experience working under Agile Methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience or active interest in the use of AI applied to software development tools (such as GitHub Copilot or development assisted by agents).
• Knowledge in performance optimization of document databases.
• Familiarity with cloud-native deployment architectures.

How you'll work

• 23 vacation days + December 24th and 31st off.
• 1 day for professional events and 3 days for personal errands (free conciliation days).
• 100% remote work: You will work remotely, with some flexibility to adjust your schedule, although it will depend on the project you are on.
