Backend Java Lead

Job Title : Backend Java Lead - Agentic AI.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Lead backend architecture and hands-on development for Sales Agent, Document Upload Service, BFF (Backend-for-Frontend), and supporting service layers.

- Design and implement agentic AI architectures and frameworks, working hands-on with AI agents, agent orchestration, MCP tools/services, and A2A integration.

- Develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring AI, ensuring reliable and deterministic execution through domain APIs.

- Design and integrate REST/OData APIs, SAP Commerce OCC APIs, and external services.

- Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2/JWT and manage API integrations through Azure API Management.

- Establish backend integration patterns and BFF architecture aligned with frontend and platform requirements.

- Ensure code quality, scalability, performance, security, and observability using OpenTelemetry and SonarQube.

- Guide developers, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and drive engineering best practices.

- Support containerized service deployments and collaborate with frontend, AI, and platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Use Python scripting where required for automation and supporting backend workflows.
