We are seeking talented and motivated Backend PHP Developers (Laravel) at Mid and Senior levels to join our dynamic team in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems using PHP and the Laravel framework.

Our primary projects focus on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and gaming-related platforms, where you will work on backend functionalities, APIs, database architecture, and system integrations to support business and project requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and RESTful APIs using PHP and Laravel for CRM and gaming-related projects.

• Develop and optimise core functionalities, business logic, database structures, and system integrations.

• Work with MySQL to design efficient database schemas, optimise queries, and ensure data integrity and performance.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues while providing support for production systems.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and continuously improve system stability, scalability, security, and efficiency.

• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in backend development.

What We're Looking For

• Mid-Level: Typically 2–3 years of relevant backend development experience, with solid hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel.

• Senior-Level: Strong professional experience in Laravel backend development, with the ability to independently handle complex tasks, guide junior developers, and make technical decisions.

• Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, JSON, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Good understanding of RESTful API development, database design, application architecture, and system integration.

• Strong programming, system analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

• Experience working with production systems and handling technical issues independently.

• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with CRM systems, gaming platforms, or other transaction-driven applications will be an advantage.

• Experience with Next.js is an added advantage.
