Backend QA Specialist at Data Edge supporting a partner's teams with backend-focused testing of end-to-end payment flows — manual and automated functional/regression testing, with Java and Selenium knowledge valued. Role is based in Tallinn, Estonia (may also be performed from Lithuania or Latvia).
We are looking for a Backend QA Specialist to support our partner's team with ongoing testing activities and help address current QA capacity constraints across two teams.
The ideal candidates should have solid experience in software testing, particularly in backend and payment-related testing. Experience within the Payments domain would be a strong advantage.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Solid experience in software testing and QA activities
- Hands-on experience with functional and regression testing
- Experience with both manual and automated testing
- Strong experience in backend testing, as most testing activities are backend-focused
- Experience testing end-to-end payment flows
- Knowledge of the Payments domain would be a strong advantage
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Java would be beneficial
- Experience with test automation using Selenium would be highly appreciated
- Ability to work across different testing scenarios and payment processes
- Limited UI testing experience is sufficient, as UI testing is not the primary focus of the role
Nice to have:
- Previous experience or knowledge in the Payments domain
- Knowledge of Java
- Practical experience with test automation using Selenium
