Backend software Engineer-DBA
Summary
Maintains and optimizes MySQL/MongoDB databases, builds automation tools, and supports large-scale distributed systems for a global tech company.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the database system, including: monitoring, backup, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in the architecture design, implementation, and data migration of large-scale database systems.
- Build end-to-end solutions based on MySQL and MongoDB infrastructures, with a focus on business performance, high availability, and business growth requirements.
- Develop tools and implement automated processes to improve the efficiency of database operation and maintenance as well as management. Responsible for the testing, maintenance, and management of database middleware.
- Participate in daily on-call duties.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related technical disciplines.
- Familiar with Unix/Linux operating systems and network-related knowledge.
- Possess development experience in at least one programming language, such as Shell, Python, Golang, etc.
- Candidates with experience in designing, analyzing, and supporting large-scale distributed systems are preferred.
- Candidates with experience in using NoSQL databases such as Redis and MongoDB are preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills, as well as strong learning ability.
