About The Role:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our high-impact engineering team, which is focused on the US market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Responsibilities:

• Develop product features (estimate, implement, deploy, monitor)
• Support tech requests from different teams that are part of the company (product, ads, ops, data, cc/call center)
• Develop quality software and web applications
• Analyze and maintain existing software applications
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Discover and fix programming bugs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Over 4 Years of Relevant Experience, Demonstrating Strong Ownership and Practical, Hands-On Expertise
• 4-5+ years of professional backend experience, Java as primary language in production; strong engineers with 3+ years and clear ownership of what they worked on are welcomed
• Development experience with programming languages
• SQL database or relational database skills
• Experience with AWS services common to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, IAM)
• Experience building REST APIs and other back-ends in the Java & Node.js runtimes
• Experience with SQL (Postgres, MariaDB), NoSQL (DynamoDB, DocumentDB), Data Warehouse (Redshift)
• Experience with Networking, Firewalls, Routing
• Experience working within a distributed team and project management in GitHub
• Excellent written communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CPaaS
• Knowledge of AI / STT (speech to text) / TTS (text to speech)
