Backend Software Engineer
Summary
Develop and maintain backend systems and APIs, integrating with payment providers and internal tools using languages like Java, Go, Python, PHP, or Node.js and databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining backend systems and APIs
- Work closely with product, frontend, operations, and payment teams to support business needs
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Support system integration with payment providers, upstream suppliers, and internal tools
- Participate in debugging, testing, and performance optimization
- Support deployment and monitoring of backend services
- Learn and contribute to cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of backend development experience (fresh graduates are welcome)
- Familiar with at least one backend programming language such as Java, Go, Python, PHP, or Node.js
- Basic understanding of databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and backend architecture
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or project experience in backend development
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Aliyun)
- Interest in payment, fintech, telecom, or eSIM-related systems
- Basic understanding of DevOps / CI-CD processes is a plus
- Passion for building scalable and reliable systems
