Backend Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code using languages such as Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Build and integrate with robust APIs (RESTful or GraphQL) that support front-end applications and third-party services.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, participating actively in code reviews .
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, ensuring high availability and performance of backend services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in backend software development .
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, Go) and associated frameworks.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), caching mechanisms, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges.
