We are seeking a skilled Python/Django developer to join our team onsite in our Amsterdam office. Visa sponsorship is possible.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications using Python and Django. The systems you will work on include a moderation dashboard, chat and feeds admin panel, internal tools, and integration with external services.
- Design and develop web applications using Python and Django.
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features.
- Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest developments in the Python and Django communities.
- Monitor production environments for performance and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a backend software developer.
- Strong experience with Python and Django.
- Proven experience with architecting, designing, and refactoring software systems.
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Bonus Points
- Experience with JavaScript and web frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
- Experience with designing and building REST APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
