Backend Software Engineer

Role: Backend Software Engineer (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $50 - $70/hour

Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Software Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves developing and maintaining scalable software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code and optimizing system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Java Script.
• Experience with software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write efficient algorithms.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of data structures and database systems.
