" What you'll do as a Backend Developer at NS As a Backend Developer, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the systems that support the NS app. You'll build scalable and reliable services that meet the highest quality standards. Your main focus will be on functionality that supports our service strategy and contributes to increasing self-service and reducing the need for customer contact. At NS, our goal is to offer services as proactively as possible: relevant to passengers and available at exactly the moment they need them. - You develop and maintain backend services in TypeScript, deployed on AWS. - You work closely with the Business Analyst, Product Owner and other developers to translate functional and business requirements into technical solutions. - You write structured, clean code, address technical debt and resolve security vulnerabilities where necessary. - You improve the quality, reliability and robustness of our backend by working test-driven and understanding how monitoring tools such as Datadog can be used effectively. - You stay up to date with the latest developments in backend technologies and share your knowledge with both the team and the wider developer community.
