Backend

World Wide Technology is looking for a Backend C++ Developer to join our Strategic Resourcing practice. This is a contract role supporting one of WWT’s enterprise customers. The selected candidate will be employed by one of WWT’s Empaneled partners, who will provide full compensation and benefits details prior to employment.

Role: Backend C++ Developer

Location: Singapore G 3 days onsite in IOI, 2 days remote

Duration: 12 months to start

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend C++ components supporting sales and trading applications.
• Work across the broader technology stack, including .NET services, Kafka messaging pipelines, KDB+ data stores, and Python tooling, as needed.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the trading systems, applying strong logical and analytical thinking.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including trading desks, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams, to deliver reliable solutions.
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from design and coding through testing and production support.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on C++ development skills.
• 3+ years of relevant working experience.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Team player with strong self-motivation.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and tools.
• Strong communication skills.
