Bakery Clerk
Part Time – Hourly
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet, assist, and ring out all customers politely
- Actively bake, wrap, package, and sell a variety of goods
- To bake bread, rolls, buns, cake, pies, pastries and brownies
- Maintain company standards for perishables and stay up to date on all active safety procedures
- Transportation and stocking of goods within department
- Ensuring Health and Safety Codes, checking for pricing and expiration, and maintaining an organizational standard area.
- To check, record, and retain cooler/freezer temperatures and maintenance
- To perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisors and managers, assisting within other departments as needed to service customers
- Stay up to date and in congruence with Health and Safety standards, as well as holding a working knowledge of cleaning supplies and various chemicals and machines within the department
- The capability to understand merchandising labels, warehouse order codes, numbers, reports, printed paper invoices and order forms
- Ability to comprehend and provide complex verbal instructions and descriptions concerning store policy and procedures, and usage of equipment.
