Bakery Production Associate - 3rd Shift

Henri’s Bakery & Deli is searching for a Bakery Production Associate with focus on:

• Finishing French Pastry Products
• Setting up products and assisting the baking team
• Assisting in the organization of products for delivery

Position Summary

Henri’s Bakery and Deli has been an Atlanta institution for over 90 years. The Company has tremendous opportunity to grow and expand our customer base through our current offerings as well as expanding into new verticals such as catering, food truck & events and ecommerce. We are looking for an energetic and driven production associate with entry level bakery and kitchen experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Working with the P.M. production team, generally from 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
• Assist with the production & baking process from start to finish for a variety of baked goods such as Cookies, Croissants, Danish, Breads etc.
• Finishing of French Pastries for our retail locations.
• Maintain a clean working environment, including work station, cooler and freezer organization.
• Assist team members with production of other baked goods as business dictates.
• Support of packaging team to ensure finished goods are organized for distribution accurately.
• Help support our leadership team to maintain production and production related processes.

Qualifications/Skills Required

• 1 year of experience in a bakery setting or equivalent education experience.
• Some understanding of bakery operations and processes strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to be standing and working on your feet for 8+ hours at a time.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to read and follow recipes and production schedules
• Work in both warm and cool environment
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, and soy
• Team player, willing to go above and beyond to help the team.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

This position will be working in our main production facility.

Work schedule

• 8 hour shift

Pay: $18.00 - 20.00 per hour
