BALER WAREHOUSE TRAINEE

The Baler/Warehouse Helper Associate has the responsibility of baling clothing or plush, stacking and unstacking gaylords, and helping load trucks with bales of clothing. The position is a member of the Warehouse Team.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

1. Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures. Must possess professional etiquette.
2. Operate top loading clothing baler.
3. Operate forklift after training and certification.
4. Must be able to work unsupervised. Filling baler with bale. Tying off baler with provided wire and use of forklift and hand jack when needed. Responsible for emptying gaylords of donated goods into baler.
5. Keep work area and surrounding area neat, clean, and orderly.
6. Complete daily and weekly salvage paperwork and logs as instructed by supervisor.
7. Will receive cross-training in waste management, material handling, barcoding, or processing.
8. Regular attendance is required. Must adhere to attendance policies and procedures.
9. All other duties as assigned.
