Banamex Líder de Protección Ejecutiva

The CSIS Executive Protection Security Officer is a senior level role responsible for the support of Citi Executive Protection. The overall objective is to provide high level Executive Protection and ensure the overall safety of Citi Executives as directed. Provide physical coverage for identified Citi Principals during domestic and international travel. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives of the function.

Accountable for delivery of a full range of protective services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally and externally, often at a senior level. Accountable for the end results of an area. Exercises control over resources, planning and execution. Primarily affects a sub-function. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Establish and maintain high-level relationships with law enforcement authorities, first responder agencies, government officials and key business support entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Complies with all policies required to meet organizational goals to eliminate or reduce threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide day-to-day executive protection services on identified Principals
  • Always Assume responsibility for the safety of Principals, including personal security, privacy, and confidentiality of business and personal matters
  • Manage day-to-day operational activities within span of control, to include protective advances, emergency response, crisis management and recovery functions, across multiple locations.
  • Continually identify, evaluate, and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities, and provide Executive Protection Operations & Logistics Manager the information they need to make critical decisions
  • Display fiscal and budgetary discipline to meet expected spend patterns, achieve goals, and remain within defined budget parameters
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Complete all administrative requirements as required within the Executive Protection Program.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years relevant experience in a private/public sector security environment
  • Professional Security certifications preferred
  • Experience working in a corporate or financial services security team
  • Former Law Enforcement, Military or Government Agent
  • Experience in the close personal protection of high-profile principals in domestic and international settings
  • Proven ability to execute efficiently under tight time constraints
  • Proven ability to foster relationships and interface with external agencies to promote functional excellence
  • Experience in promoting a culture of a strong security risk and control environment
  • Demonstrated a broad understanding of security vulnerabilities and crisis principles
  • Articulated an understanding of potential security or safety threats, local threats based on geographic location and their impact
  • Demonstrated in-depth understanding of risk management and innovatively develops solutions and makes suggestions to senior management to mitigate risks
  • Experience in conducting protective advances and completing site surveys to identify risk and plan a protective strategy accordingly
  • Experience with planning and organization of multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Experience in Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Current CPR and AED certification
  • Ability to obtain TSA/ASO certification

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree, master’s degree preferred, plus equivalent work experience

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in adhering current security protocols, operations manuals, and guides
  • Demonstrated experience in making sound judgements at a moment’s notice
  • Has maintained corporate assets, to include lease vehicles and equipment in a state of perpetual readiness enough to meet or surpass requirements
  • Can articulate basic understanding of security vulnerabilities and suggests preventative measures to assist in the mitigation of these potential risks
  • Experience in working with security & safety technology
  • Demonstrated ability to follow security and safety instructions and procedures; reporting anything out of the ordinary to management and obey rules and regulations set out in delegations of duty, verbal instructions and company policies
  • Knowledge of realistic self-defense tactics
  • 2nd language skills

Physical & Other Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work on call and off hour, weekends, and holidays
  • Travel domestically and internationally
  • Must be in good overall physical, emotional, and mental condition due to the strenuous demands of position
  • Ability to lift 50lb solid weight
  • Ability to stand long periods of time
  • Ability to work independently and to adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy

Buscamos un Líder de Seguridad Ejecutiva con amplia experiencia (10 años) y seniority para dirigir la estrategia y operación de protección ejecutiva de la alta dirección.

Será responsable de supervisar al proveedor de seguridad tercerizado, garantizar la protección de ejecutivos clave y coordinar acciones de seguridad con áreas internas y autoridades externas a nivel nacional.

Responsabilidades Clave

  • Liderar la estrategia de seguridad ejecutiva y protección de altos directivos.

  • Dirigir y supervisar la operación de proveedores externos de seguridad, asegurando niveles óptimos de servicio y cumplimiento.

  • Coordinar esquemas de protección, traslados, eventos y logística de seguridad para ejecutivos.

  • Realizar evaluaciones de riesgo y desarrollar planes preventivos de protección.

  • Mantener comunicación y coordinación con áreas de Seguridad Física, Inmuebles, Facilities y otras áreas estratégicas.

  • Gestionar incidentes, planes de contingencia y protocolos de respuesta.

  • Fungir como punto de contacto con autoridades y organismos de seguridad nacionales e internacionales cuando sea necesario.

  • Brindar acompañamiento y asesoría en materia de seguridad a miembros de la Alta Dirección y Comité Ejecutivo.

Requisitos

  • Experiencia sólida liderando funciones de Seguridad Ejecutiva, Protección Ejecutiva o Seguridad Corporativa.

  • Experiencia administrando y supervisando proveedores de seguridad tercerizados.

  • Conocimiento de protección a ejecutivos, análisis de riesgos, gestión de crisis y seguridad física.

  • Experiencia coordinando operaciones de seguridad a nivel nacional.

  • Capacidad para interactuar con altos directivos y stakeholders de nivel ejecutivo.

  • Relacionamiento con autoridades y organismos de seguridad gubernamentales.

Experiencia Deseable

  • Trayectoria en fuerzas armadas, inteligencia, protección ejecutiva, cuerpos policiales o seguridad corporativa.

  • Experiencia de interacción con embajadas, organismos diplomáticos, Guardia Nacional, Marina, fuerzas militares o instituciones gubernamentales de seguridad.

  • Experiencia protegiendo a miembros de Comités Ejecutivos, Consejos de Administración o Alta Dirección.
