Summary
Process trade finance transactions like Letters of Credit and guarantees for Singapore and Hong Kong, ensuring compliance and handling SWIFT messages and document management.
Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end Trade Finance transactions for Singapore and Hong Kong, including Import/Export Letters of Credit (LCs), guarantees, amendments, payments, negotiations, and reimbursements
- Verify transactions for compliance with internal procedures, banking regulations, and trade finance guidelines
- Perform KYC validation and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on trade finance transactions
- Enter trade finance transactions into banking systems, prepare customer advices, process SWIFT messages, and handle related administrative tasks such as document management and filing
- Support digitalisation initiatives, projects, and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) activities
- Assist with any other ad hoc duties as assigned
