The Banking Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in accelerating the bank’s reporting and process-improvement initiatives by leading the analysis, documentation, and testing efforts. This banker will work closely with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and streamline existing processes to drive operational efficiency and improved customer experience. Qualified candidates will have prior experience in a similar role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with bank departments to conduct structured requirements-gathering sessions, uncovering and clarifying needs related to reporting and process improvement opportunities.
- Document detailed and clear requirements and process flows, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Perform functional testing of completed work to validate requirements and ensure quality of deliverables prior to user acceptance testing.
- Lead iterative user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles focused on validating results, collecting feedback, and driving defect resolution.
- Coordinate regression testing during system upgrades to maintain stability and continuity.
- Validate data accuracy for reports and data feeds.
- Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for workflow and reporting tools, ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.
- Track, analyze, and prioritize defects and enhancement requests related to deployed workflows and reports.
- Comfort working with artificial intelligence (AI) tools to complete requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis assignments.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated output for banking and business accuracy.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
