Job Description

As part of strategic projects within a banking institution, we are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support business lines in the definition, analysis, and implementation of their functional needs.

Acting as a true interface between business and IT teams, you will contribute to the success of projects by ensuring a clear understanding of the challenges, the quality of specifications, and the consistency of the deployed solutions.

• Gather, analyze, and challenge business needs from various stakeholders.
• Write functional specifications, user stories, and scoping documents.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements for development teams.
• Facilitate workshops and follow-up meetings with business and IT teams.
• Participate in the modeling of processes and user journeys.
• Provide functional monitoring of developments and respond to requests from technical teams.
• Develop and execute functional acceptance testing strategies.
• Write test cases and coordinate business validation phases.
• Analyze, qualify, and track anomalies until resolution.
• Support users during deployment and change management phases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of project practices.
• Perform data analysis and functional checks via SQL queries.
• Participate in functional and technical reviews to secure developments and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the banking sector or another demanding industry.
• Experience in writing functional specifications and requirements management.
• Strong technical background and ability to bridge the gap between business teams and communicate with technical teams.
• Knowledge of application development and understanding of IS architectures, as well as a good understanding of data flows and inter-application exchanges.
• Experience in code reading, code review, or technical analysis is appreciated.
• Proficiency in SQL and ability to perform data analysis and control queries.
• Experience in functional acceptance testing, test management, and anomaly tracking.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalents.
• Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent.
• Fluent English.
