About the Role

We are looking for a Bank Operations Analyst to join a bank’s Card Operations Processing Centre, supporting the Reconciliation and Investigation function.

In this back-office banking role, you will help ensure that the bank’s transaction records are accurate by performing daily reconciliation of accounts, identifying discrepancies, following up on outstanding items, and supporting investigation and resolution activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or junior candidates who are looking to start and build a career in banking operations.

No sales or customer-facing responsibilities are involved. The role is suitable for candidates who enjoy structured, detail-oriented and process-driven work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation and proofing of General Ledger (GL) and Nostro / cash accounts relating to card transactions.

• Compare transaction records and account balances to identify discrepancies or unmatched items.

• Investigate and follow up on reconciliation differences.

• Escalate outstanding or unresolved items to the relevant internal teams for timely resolution.

• Monitor and track the aging of outstanding GL and Nostro items.

• Perform invoice reconciliation and ensure records are accurate before processing or settlement.

• Maintain proper documentation and records of reconciliation activities.

• Work closely with internal operations, finance and other support teams to resolve transaction-related issues.

• Ensure daily operational tasks are completed accurately and within required timelines.

• Follow established banking procedures, operational controls and internal policies.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Candidates with 1–2 years of banking operations, finance operations, reconciliation, accounting or administrative experience are also encouraged to apply.

• Comfortable working with numbers and financial transactions.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to follow established procedures and meet daily processing deadlines.

• Good communication and follow-up skills.

• Responsible, organized and able to work well within a team.
