We are seeking an energetic, professional, and service-focused Banquet Server to join our events team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, connecting with guests, and helping bring weddings, meetings, celebrations, and special events to life.

As a Banquet Server, you'll help execute the proper setup, service, and breakdown of assigned banquet functions while providing attentive and professional service throughout each event.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our Banquet team, you'll help create seamless and memorable events through exceptional service, teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Banquet Setup & Event Preparation

• Assist with the setup and detailing of banquet functions according to event requirements and established hotel standards.
• Prepare assigned banquet areas and service stations to ensure they are organized, properly set, and ready for guests.
• Review event details and service expectations to help ensure smooth and efficient execution.
• Work collaboratively with Banquet, Culinary, and other hotel teams to prepare for meetings, celebrations, and special events.

Guest Experience & Banquet Service

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Provide professional, prompt, and attentive service throughout assigned banquet functions.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to individual requests whenever possible.
• Maintain awareness of the event flow and provide service in a courteous and unobtrusive manner.
• Help create a positive guest experience that reflects our commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Event Breakdown & Service Standards

• Clear tables quietly, promptly, and in an orderly manner while handling serviceware and equipment with care.
• Complete opening, side work, and closing duties effectively and according to established procedures.
• Assist with the breakdown and reset of banquet spaces following events.
• Help ensure event spaces, service areas, and equipment are properly organized and ready for the next function.

Cleanliness, Safety & Teamwork

• Maintain clean, organized, and professional banquet and service areas throughout each event.
• Respond immediately to spills and help ensure floors, carpets, walls, and surrounding areas remain clean and safe.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety standards.
• Work closely with fellow Banquet Servers, Culinary team members, supervisors, and other departments to provide seamless event service.
• Support the team as business and event needs change, helping create an efficient, welcoming, and professional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous banquet serving, restaurant, food and beverage, and/or hospitality experience preferred.

• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and fellow team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing prompt and courteous service.
• Ability to work efficiently and remain composed in a fast-paced event environment.
• Ability to follow event instructions, service standards, and established banquet procedures.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
• Flexible availability based on event and business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
