TownePlace Suites by Marriott Clarksville is hiring a dependable part-time Banquet Setup Attendant to prepare our meeting and event spaces. If you have experience in banquet setup, event setup, hotel housekeeping, catering, warehouse work, or hospitality, we’d love to meet you. New to events? No problem. We provide paid training. TownePlace Suites is a Marriott brand, and you’ll help make every meeting, training, and gathering run smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting rooms and event spaces for meetings, trainings, receptions, and group functions
• Arrange tables, chairs, and staging according to event orders (BEOs) and room diagrams
• Set up linens, table settings, buffet lines, coffee stations, and beverage service
• Move, store, and organize event furniture, equipment, and supplies safely
• Set up audio/visual equipment, screens, and podiums as needed
• Keep meeting rooms, hallways, and storage areas clean and organized
• Restock event supplies and report low inventory to the manager
• Work closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and management teams to deliver great events
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and security procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet setup, event setup, catering, hotel, housekeeping, or warehouse work preferred (not required)
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to read event orders and follow room setup instructions
• Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand, bend, push, and pull for long periods and lift to 40–50 lbs
• Team player with a positive attitude
