Barista

Job Title: Server/ Barista

Report to: Café Manager

Job Summary: The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, to customers. They also handle customer orders, payments, and ensure cleanliness in the work area.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet guests warmly upon arrival and make them feel welcome.

· Present menus, answer questions about food and beverage options, and provide recommendations as needed.

· Take orders accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems or order

· Deliver orders promptly from the kitchen or bar area to the dining tables.

· Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and surrounding areas throughout the shift.

· Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and issue receipts as required.

· Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the café during peak hours.

· Must be able to prepare hot and cold coffee drinks.

· Must be able to make an egg sandwich

· Address any guest concerns or complaints professionally and courteously.

· Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices.

· Prepare food items from time to time and prepare different types of coffee.

· Assist with setting up or breaking down tables as needed for special events or private functions.

· Perform other tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
