Barista / Kuwait

Career Land Center is hiring an experienced Barista for a well-established café in Kuwait. The café is looking for a skilled and passionate coffee professional with strong barista experience, excellent coffee-making skills, and the ability to prepare high-quality beverages while delivering outstanding customer service.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, flat white, and specialty coffees

• Demonstrating strong latte art skills and creating attractive coffee presentations

• Operating professional espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other café equipment

• Adjusting coffee grinders and ensuring consistent coffee quality

• Preparing and serving other beverages, including teas, iced drinks, and specialty beverages

• Taking customer orders and providing recommendations based on customer preferences

• Maintaining high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and consistency

• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station and equipment

• Monitoring coffee supplies and maintaining adequate stock levels

• Delivering friendly and professional customer service

What we’re looking for

• At least 2 years of experience as a Barista in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality establishment

• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso-based beverages

• Proven latte art skills are required

• Good understanding of coffee beans, grinding, extraction, and milk steaming techniques

• Experience operating professional coffee machines and grinders

• Good presentation skills and attention to detail

• Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented personality

• Good communication skills in English

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• A portfolio, photos, or videos demonstrating previous latte art work

Schedule

• Full-time, 6 days a week with 1 day off

• Shift-based schedule, including evenings and weekends
