The Barista is responsible for promoting MAMA Shelter’s coffee program by educating guests, selling, preparing, and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries and other items on the menu. To be successful in your role of Barista, you must be a genuine coffee lover who embodies the MAMA Spirit in all that you do.
Job Overview:

You stay current with MAMA Shelter Coffee offerings through tastings and trainings.
You are genuine in providing our guests with superior service.
Ensure guests complaints are promptly addressed by management.
Maintain workspaces are kept impeccably clean and tidy at all times.
Have a clear knowledge on all inventory products.
Follows proper cash handling and payment procedures.
Maintain safe work habits and work environments.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in high volume hotel or coffee shop.
You’re able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
You jump out of bed each morning fizzing with energy.
Multi-tasker- You’ll know how to balance the needs of the guests, while upholding the needs of MAMA.
You’re able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and Holidays.
You’re not easily stressed and perform at your best under pressure.
You’re dependable and punctual.
