Description
The Barista is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, and light food items in a fast-paced casino environment. This role reflects the Tribe’s commitment to hospitality, cultural respect, and excellence while ensuring compliance with all gaming, health, and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
Licenses, Certifications & Requirements

Food Handlers Card (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)

Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License

Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age (per Tribal and state regulations)
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Manual dexterity to operate coffee equipment and POS systems
Work Environment

Fast-paced cafe environment within a casino setting

Exposure to noise, crowds, and varying temperatures

Must be willing to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous barista, cafe, or food service experience preferred but not required

Training provided for beverage preparation and POS systems
