Bartender

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and efficient Bartender to join our high-volume Italian restaurant. This role requires expertise in bar management, craft cocktail creation, and inventory control, with a strong ability to perform under pressure. The ideal candidate delivers fast, consistent service while maintaining high-quality standards and enhancing the guest dining experience through beverage knowledge and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment, including classic cocktails, Italian aperitifs, wine, and beer
• Develop and maintain a curated cocktail menu featuring Italian-inspired and seasonal offerings
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Italian wines, amari, aperitivi, and digestivi; provide pairing recommendations to complement menu items
• Manage bar inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, tracking usage, and minimizing waste
• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards
• Maintain consistency in drink quality and presentation during peak service hours
• Train and support bar staff on recipes, service standards, and efficient workflow
• Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to align beverage offerings with seasonal menus and specials
• Monitor beverage costs and contribute to profitability through effective inventory and portion control
• Provide exceptional hospitality, engaging guests while maintaining speed of service
