- Prepare and present cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with consistent quality, accuracy and attention to detail
- Create memorable beverage experiences by guiding guests through RH's beverage offerings with thoughtful recommendations, wine pairings and knowledgeable service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar by replenishing and rotating inventory, glassware, garnishes and supplies to support uninterrupted service
- Process guest payments accurately using the point-of-sale system while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with cash handling procedures
- Complete opening and closing responsibilities to ensure the bar is prepared for service and properly secured at the end of each shift
- Serve as a brand ambassador by engaging warmly with guests, modeling polished personal presentation and demonstrating knowledge of RH's food and beverage offerings
- Support an efficient, guest-focused service environment by anticipating guest and team needs while maintaining an organized, service-ready bar
- Partner with location leadership to manage beverage inventory, monitor product quality, minimize waste and support operational and financial goals
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, urgency and sound judgment while escalating issues appropriately
- Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and comply with applicable liquor laws and company policies
- 3+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale or luxury hospitality environment
- Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, classic and contemporary cocktails and responsible alcohol service practices
- Passion for expanding knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, and seasonal beverage offerings through ongoing learning and development
- Commitment to responsible alcohol service practices, food safety and sanitation standards, applicable regulations, and RH policies
- Effective verbal communication in English is required to provide exceptional service to guests and collaborate with fellow Team Members.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of application at the time of hire
- Meets the minimum legal age required to serve alcohol, work designated shifts and perform the full scope of job responsibilities in accordance with local labor and safety regulations
- Commitment to high standards of personal appearance, including adherence to uniform guidelines, grooming and hygiene practices to ensure a professional presentation to guests
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and variable shifts as business needs require
- Frequent stooping, bending, and reaching, both overhead and below bar height
- Lift or move items up to 25 kgs using appropriate equipment and safe handling techniques
- Stand and walk for extended periods as part of daily work activities
- Safely ascend and descend stairs, with or without carrying beverages, glassware or service equipment
- Navigate busy, low-lit bar and dining environments with attention to safety and control
