Weekend Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for preparing alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages for guests. The Bartender is expected to provide an excellent experience for each guest as well as maintaining cleanliness, inventory, and organization of the bar while on shift.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensures that each guest receives excellent guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and by maintaining excellent standards.
• Conducts bar opening procedures including stocking inventory, preparing garnishes, cleaning, and organizing bar area.
• Receives orders from guests and waitstaff; prepares liquor, mixed drinks and nonalcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately.
• Ensures that customers are of legal drinking age by checking photo IDs.
• Accurately ring orders and take payment via POS system.
• Follows all state and local laws, as well as property policies and procedures regarding service of alcoholic beverages.
• Performs proper bar closing procedures including cleaning and locking bar area; other closing tasks as prescribed by closing procedure.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures, as well as state health/sanitation standards.
• Attends staff meeting sessions and training as required.
