Position Overview

The Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while providing excellent customer service in a restaurant and taproom environment. This role involves preparing cocktails, pouring beer, recommending beverages, processing customer orders and payments, and maintaining a clean bar area. Bartenders work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure accurate orders and efficient service. The position requires multitasking, attention to detail, and the ability to create a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails and craft beer.
• Recommend beverages and assist guests with their selections.
• Take customer orders and process payments using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash and maintain accurate customer transactions.
• Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient service.
• Set up, clean, and maintain an organized bar area.
• Monitor inventory and restock beverages and bar supplies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and address guest concerns professionally.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of bartending experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of cocktails, craft beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to prepare and serve beverages and handle customer orders and payments.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management while maintaining a clean and organized bar.
• Required: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range

USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
