Base Area Attendant - Summer Seasonal 2014, Full Time, Vail Mountain

The Base Area Attendant is responsible for the daily up keep of the resort’s outdoor plazas and facilities at the base of the mountain. If you have an eye for detail and a strong work ethic, we would love for you to apply to our team.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Trash removal and cleaning of trash cans.
• Sweeping of plazas.
• Installing of fences.
• Some landscaping including mowing.
• The Base Area Attendant is also responsible for assisting other departments when needed.
• The Base Area Attendant needs to exhibit strong internal and external guest service skills, while maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED - required.
• Valid Driver's License - required.
• Read, Write, and Speak English fluently - required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor - required.
• Ability to work outside in a high alpine environment - required.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle - preferred.
• Previous outdoor environment experience - preferred.
• Fluent Spanish - preferred.
