Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Basketball Coach to lead Primary and Secondary School Basketball CCA Training Programme 2027, delivering effective training and fostering discipline and sportsmanship among students.
Responsibilities
- Deliver structured basketball coaching sessions to Primary and Secondary school students to develop skills and teamwork
- Maintain discipline and promote sportsmanship during training and competitions
- Communicate training instructions clearly and effectively in English to ensure student understanding and engagement
- Prepare basketball teams for competitive events such as NSG by designing targeted practice plans and strategies
- Commit consistently to the programme schedule to ensure continuity and progress
Required competencies and certifications
- Registered with MOE as a CCA Physical Sports Instructor
- Hold valid First Aid, CPR & AED certification
- Minimum 3 years of basketball coaching experience
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Possess SG-Coach Level 1 (Theory and/or Technical) or equivalent/higher qualification
- Registered with the National Registry of Coaches (NROC) for Basketball
- Experience coaching Primary and Secondary school students
- Experience preparing teams for NSG or other competitive basketball events
