BAU Support Specialist, AML Filtering System (IBM Firco)
- Must have hands-on experience with daily sanction list updates.
- The IBM SaaS Firco system (including familiarity with Firco Utility tools).
- Analyzing hit results to create and optimize suppression rules.
- Strong proficiency in preparing documentation and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Key Specific Skillsets (Core Competencies)
- AML Filtering Expertise: Deep understanding of how AML filtering systems work, specifically regarding Sanctions Screening and Transaction Filtering.
- Operational Efficiency: Proven ability to analyze hit data to reduce false positives through effective rule logic.
- Training & Mentoring: Capability to design and deliver training sessions, ensuring that operational knowledge is clearly understood and retained by permanent staff.
- Prior experience working with or coordinating with Japanese companies or stakeholders would be highly preferred.
- Familiarity with other AML screening tools or financial crime compliance platforms is an advantage.
