Bay Area Sales Manager (Player/Coach) | Salaried Management Position | $72K Base Salary + Bonus | $150K to $250K Total Potential | Hayward
Location: Based out of our Hayward office. You'll split time between the field and remote work, run the Bay Area, and coach the team by phone and video.
Type: Full-time, W-2. This is a salaried, exempt management position in California.
Pay: $72,000 base salary plus bonuses (override on team sales plus commission on your own deals). Realistic total compensation of $150,000 to $250,000.

Read this first: this is a selling manager's seat, not a desk job
If you've been managing a store, a call center, or a spreadsheet, this isn't it. We want someone who still runs appointments, closes at the kitchen table, and can show a rep how it's done on the next ride-along. Part of your week is your own deals. The rest is making the team better.
Who we are
Infinite Roofing and RoofMaxx. "Restore. Don't Replace." We do full roofs, repairs, and RoofMaxx restorations for homeowners and commercial buildings across California, and we've been at it for over a decade. We're a 5-Star Certified RoofMaxx dealer, our fastest growth is in the Bay Area, and we're opening a Hayward office. We need the person who owns sales up here.
The job
- Run your own warm appointments across the East Bay, Tri-Valley, and Peninsula, and close with a deposit
- Ride along with Bay Area reps every week. Coach the inspection, the presentation, and the close
- Work open quotes by phone, including our Fresno and Central Valley pipeline, and turn "we'll think about it" into signed contracts
- Run a weekly sales meeting and a daily scoreboard: appointments, close rate, average ticket, deposits
- Help recruit, interview, and onboard new closers as we add territories
- Keep the CRM honest: every appointment gets an outcome, photos, a price, and a next step
- Report directly to ownership
You're a fit if
- You have 3+ years of in-home closing (roofing, solar, HVAC, windows, siding, remodeling, restoration). Non-negotiable.
- You've led, trained, or managed reps, even informally as a team lead or field trainer
- You can tell us your personal close rate, your average ticket, and your team's numbers without looking them up
- You can climb a ladder and walk a one-story roof
- You're organized and comfortable in a CRM, on Zoom, and on the phone all day
- You have a valid driver's license and a clean enough record to drive the company truck
- Bonus: roofing, RoofMaxx, or contractor background; bilingual English/Spanish
This is NOT for you if
- You want to manage from behind a desk and stop selling
- You've never closed in the home yourself
- You need a fully built playbook handed to you. You'll help build it
