We are looking for a reliable and professional Area Relief Security Officer to support our clients locations in Birmingham and Wood Norton?

This is a varied role where you will be expected to travel between different locations, providing professional security support where required and becoming a trusted member of the wider regional team.

About the role

As an Area Relief Officer, you won't be permanently based at one location. You will work across multiple retail locations, providing reliable security cover and supporting different teams depending on operational requirements.

You may be required to work across Birminghamand surrounding areas, so the ability and willingness to travel throughout the area is an essential part of the position.

This role would suit an officer who enjoys variety, is comfortable adapting to different sites and takes pride in being someone the wider team can rely upon.

Your responsibilities

Providing a visible and professional security presence
Supporting multiple BBC locations across the area
Travelling between different locations when required
Preventing and deterring theft and criminal activity
Responding professionally to incidents
Supporting site management
Completing accurate incident reports and documentation
Maintaining excellent customer service standards towards visitors and the on site staff
Adapting quickly to different sites, teams and working environments
Providing reliable relief and operational support across the area

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is:

SIA licensed
Reliable, professional and punctual
Comfortable working independently
Flexible and adaptable
Confident working across different locationComfortable travelling throughout the Birmingham and Wood Norton
Professional when dealing with customers, colleagues and management
Previous security experience is essential

Own vehicle essential

Due to the area-based nature of this position, access to your own reliable car is essential.
