Summary
Design and implement a replacement data-acquisition system for synchrotron beamlines at the Canadian Light Source. Day to day you build in-house systems with databases, messaging, and APIs, collaborate with developers and end users to gather requirements, and contribute to automation pipelines using best practices in software design, testing, and deployment.
Canadian Light Source Inc. (CLSI) is seeking a Software Developer for the Data Acquisition team to design and implement a replacement data acquisition system for beamlines.
You will develop in-house systems with databases, messaging, and APIs to improve efficiency and data quality. You will collaborate with developers and end users, gather requirements, and contribute to automation pipelines while applying best practices in software design, testing, and deployment.
