BEAUTY MANAGER
The Beauty Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the beauty outlet, leading and motivating the team, achieving sales targets, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of the outlet.
Key Responsibilities
1. Outlet Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the beauty outlet and ensure smooth business operations.
- Ensure the outlet is clean, well-organised and maintained according to company standards.
- Monitor inventory, product displays, equipment and supplies.
- Ensure all company policies, procedures and operational standards are followed.
- Handle operational issues and resolve problems promptly
2. Sales & Business Performance
- Lead the team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance and implement strategies to improve sales results.
- Develop and execute sales plans, promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor individual staff performance and provide guidance to improve productivity.
- Analyse sales performance and report results and key issues to management.
3. Team Management
- Supervise, motivate and lead Beauty Consultants, therapists and other outlet staff.
- Allocate daily duties, work schedules and responsibilities according to operational requirements.
- Conduct regular staff briefings and communicate company policies, promotions and updates.
- Coach and train staff on product knowledge, sales techniques and customer service.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming and work performance.
- Provide feedback and recommend appropriate actions for staff performance or disciplinary matters.
4. Customer Service
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure customers receive a professional and pleasant experience.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and service issues.
- Build good relationships with regular customers and encourage customer retention.
- Ensure staff provide accurate information on beauty products, treatments, packages and promotions.
5. Beauty Products & Treatments
- Maintain good knowledge of the company's products, services and treatment packages.
- Ensure staff have sufficient product and treatment knowledge to effectively recommend suitable services to customers.
- Monitor product usage, stock levels and replenishment requirements.
- Ensure beauty treatments and services are performed according to company standards and procedures.
6. Administration & Reporting
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly sales and operational reports.
- Monitor cash collection, payment records and supporting documents where required.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of outlet records.
- Coordinate with HR, Accounts, Operations and Management on administrative matters.
- Monitor and control outlet expenses to ensure efficient use of company resources.
7. Compliance & Workplace Standards
- Ensure compliance with company rules, workplace policies, safety requirements and operational procedures.
- Maintain professional standards of conduct, grooming and personal presentation within the team.
- Ensure staff adhere strictly to working hours, attendance and leave procedures.
- Report incidents, staff misconduct or operational concerns to management promptly.
8. Other Duties
- Assist management in implementing new business initiatives, promotions and operational improvements.
- Support other outlets when required.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in beauty, wellness, retail or related industries.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Target-oriented, responsible and proactive.
- Well-groomed and professional in appearance.
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays according to the outlet's operational requirements.
