THE OPPORTUNITY
If you’re ready to grow your beef finishing skills and take the next step in your farming career, this role gives you the chance to learn and contribute with a supportive Farm Manager.
You’ll be part of the day-to-day running of Titoki Farm, helping with stock work, animal health, grazing plans, pasture management, weight monitoring, and general farm maintenance. You’ll build your skills in a practical, hands-on role while working alongside a supportive team.
You’ll also use Pāmu systems and farming software such as TruTest and FarmIQ for recording farm information. If you’re willing to learn and build confidence with technology, we’ll support you to get comfortable using these tools.
THE FARM
Titoki Farm is a productive beef finishing farm, covering around 553 effective hectares. Located just 25 minutes northwest of Whangārei, the farm uses a modern techno grazing system and winters around 2,000 bulls.
You’ll get the benefits of a rural farming role while still being close to Whangārei for shops, health services, gyms, libraries, sport, and community activities.
ABOUT YOU
You enjoy working with animals, being outdoors, and learning through hands-on experience. You may already have beef finishing experience, or you may be ready to step up into a role where you can keep growing your farming skills. What matters most is your interest in doing good work, looking after animals, and being part of a supportive team.
You may bring:
Experience in a similar farming role, or the confidence to take the next step
One to two working dogs, or the ability to build a team
An interest in beef finishing and learning more about modern grazing systems
Good communication skills and a team approach
A practical approach to health, safety, and animal welfare
Good attention to detail when recording information
A willingness to learn and keep building your farming skills
