Full-Time Behavioral Health Technicians - 1st or 2nd Shift
Location: Monmouth Junction, NJ
Pay ranges from $18/hour to $20/hour based on experience.
Prior mental health or substance abuse experience is preferred.

About Princeton Detox & Recovery Center:
Part of Guardian Recovery, we provide comprehensive drug rehab, alcohol rehab, and medical detox services in New Jersey for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our experienced clinical team delivers personalized treatment plans designed to help clients safely navigate withdrawal, address the underlying causes of addiction, and build a strong foundation for long-term recovery.

Work Schedule:

• There are currently first shifts (7am to 3pm) and second shifts (3pm to 11pm) available.
• One weekend shift per week is required (Saturday or Sunday).
• Full-time is preferred, but part-time positions may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

Position Description:

• The purpose of the BHT is to assist in providing a safe environment for individuals while they are in the program.
• Assists in the admission process, answers client questions and assists client in adjusting to the program routine.
• Acts the liaison between the client and the staff to report any changes in the clients physical or mental condition.
• Assists with transportation and supervision of clients off-campus as needed (company vehicles provided), such as outpatient doctors appointments, 12-step recovery meetings, etc.
• Responsible for supervising clients with emphasis on client safety and wellbeing.
