Benefits Manager (MRI/Academy)

Rate: £40.00 per hour (umbrella)
Term: 3 months initially
Hours per week: 37
Location: Devon/Hybrid
- To deal with all aspects of Housing Benefit & Council Tax Support team management
- Performance Management
- Carry out Quality Assurance checks
- A strong understanding of Housing Benefit Subsidy
- Must have knowledge of MRI (Academy) system and EDMS
- Experience of leading a large team of Benefits Officers
Requirements
- Experience in using the MRI (Academy) database
- Advanced Knowledge of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support and Local Welfare Assistance
- Strong understanding of the Housing Benefit Regulations 2006 and Decision and Appeals Regulations 2001
- Can work from the Devon office at least 1 day per week
