Job Summary
Responsible for assisting in daily functions of the Benefit Team and HR Department. Supports benefit and retirement enrollment processes for new hires and existing team members. Coordinates benefit-related communications and documentation. Ensures accurate and timely processing of benefit transactions. Facilitates positive employee experiences through responsive benefit support.
Essential Functions
• Identifies team member concerns and facilitates solutions through performance improvement activities.
• Engages in online benefit enrollment architecture and technical application reviews to ensure successful deployment and sustainability.
• Supports development and enhancement of automated benefit processes and workflow improvements.
• Coordinates and manages online benefit enrollment applications for integration with IT systems.
• Gathers and provides information to support HR Benefit team needs in employment, benefits, and team member relations.
• Presents benefits information to new hires during orientation.
• Coordinates with benefit and retirement providers, tracking and resolving related issues.
• Assists with terminations, COBRA notifications, and benefit conversions for departing team members.
• Coordinates and processes disability and FMLA claims, ensuring timely communication among stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
Experience Requirement
0-2 years of experience in human resources, business administration, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
