Roles & responsibilities
We are recruiting for a Senior in the Insurance Audit team at KPMG Resource Centre Private Limited (KRCPL). Working as a Senior in this team, your responsibilities will include:
—In-charging audits as the Lead Senior on audit engagements.
—Planning and execution of audit fieldwork and statutory reporting.
—Reporting to audit partners and managers on all salient points arising from audits & tracking open issues until resolved.
—Building relationships with client staff and acting as an ambassador for the firm.
—Ensuring deliverables meet necessary quality standards.
—Maintaining data confidentiality and adherence to risk management policies.
—Conducting performance reviews of junior team members.
—Reviewing junior team member’s work and providing timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.
—Building relationships with onshore team members.
—Auditing complex sections of the financial statements of companies as per country specific statutory requirements.

Educational qualifications
•Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA or CPA). First time passes are preferable.
•Work experience
•The candidate must have 1–2.5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm or other reputed audit firm in a client facing environment working with insurance clients and/or international clients.
•Candidate must have experience of auditing Insurance clients.
