General Summary

Advanced RX Management is looking for a BI Analyst/Developer to join our data team. This role works hands-on with our SQL Server reporting environment — building and maintaining ETL pipelines, staging tables, and reports that turn complex claims, billing, and operational data into reliable, actionable information. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working deep in the data, solving data quality problems at the root, and building infrastructure that the rest of the business depends on every day.

Primary/Key Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and staging tables in a SQL Server data warehouse environment.
  • Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards used across operations, finance, and executive teams.
  • Troubleshoot data quality issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting fixes rather than one-off patches.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate reporting requests into well-structured, maintainable data solutions.
  • Monitor scheduled data refresh jobs and pipelines, and resolve failures or performance issues as they arise.
  • Document data models, business logic, and report definitions to support a growing reporting environment.
  • Support integrations between core business systems and the reporting warehouse.

Education and/or Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered in place of a degree.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • 3–5 years of experience in a BI, data analyst, or database developer role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server and T-SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and stored procedures.
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines using SSIS or comparable tools.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards in SSRS and Power BI.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VBA.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with comfort working through imperfect or messy data.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience with healthcare, pharmacy, or revenue cycle management data is a plus.
  • Experience integrating ERP or third-party systems (e.g., NetSuite) into a data warehouse.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server Agent job scheduling and monitoring.
