KinderCare is seekingaBIData Analyst II tobethe foundational member ofourenterpriseanalyticspractice, translating business questions into clear, credibleanalysisandhelping KinderCare understand the value of its initiatives before, during, and after delivery.Theywill partner with at least one product manager or business leader, owningthoserelationshipswith guidance fromthemanager orPrincipal Analyst.They willbuild strong analytical habits from day one, including the disciplined definition of success metrics before evaluating results and a healthy skepticism toward conclusions that are not supported by evidence.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely in a fast-paced environment with corporate business partners to ensure they stay within budget and forecast
Usinganalytics, understand and actively communicate underlying causes of variances as well as present variance analyses to senior staff in a simple, concise,and easy-to-consume format
Appropriately challenge leaders throughout the organization to think strategically about the way they structure their teams andallocateresources in pursuit of organizational strategic priorities
QUALIFICATIONS:
2–3 years of analytical experience and foundational SQL skills;comfortworking with real-world data: data that is messy, incomplete, andthatrequiresjudgment;possesscuriosityabout the business behind thedata;abilitytodevelopfoundational instincts around measurement discipline, experimental thinking, and evidence-based decision making
Abilityto takeownership of relationships and work; possessahunger to grow in an environment that rewards craft
Excellent customer service and communication skills;abilityto interact with various levels of management and develop strong working relationships
Willingness toexplore how AI tools can accelerate and improve your analyticalwork;opennessto integrating them into your day-to-day
