BI DATA ANALYST

are seeking a BI Data Analyst with strong skills in data analysis,
visualization, SQL, and business intelligence to turn complex data into clear,
actionable insights. This role is ideal for a naturally curious professional who

DAY TO DAY
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design, develop, and maintain dashboards,
reports, and visualizations that highlight key operational and performance
insights.
· Analyze complex datasets to identify trends,
patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
· Apply statistical analysis and modeling
techniques to answer business questions and support data-driven decisions.
· Partner with stakeholders to understand business
needs, define reporting requirements, and translate them into effective
analytics solutions.
· Use data storytelling and visualization best
practices to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical
audiences.
· Write, optimize, and validate SQL queries to
extract, combine, and analyze data from multiple sources.
· Perform data profiling, validation, and quality
checks to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable reporting.
· Collaborate with IT teams, data owners, and
business users to resolve data issues and improve reporting processes.
· Evaluate existing dashboards and reports,
recommending improvements to usability, performance, design, and analytical
value.
· Identify opportunities to improve data
collection, reporting standards, business processes, and analytics practices.
· Support business intelligence best practices by
developing reusable solutions, consistent metrics, and visualization standards.
· Help stakeholders interpret dashboards, metrics,
and analytical findings so they can take informed action.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
· Demonstrated experience using Tableau to develop interactive dashboards and compelling visualizations.
· Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases and complex datasets.
· Experience performing data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.
· Experience gathering requirements and translating business questions into analytical and reporting solutions.
· Understanding of data visualization principles, dashboard design, and reporting best practices.
· Working knowledge of data modeling and the relationships between source data, analytical datasets, and reporting solutions.
· Ability to communicate analytical and technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
· Familiarity with data warehouses, data lakes, and modern analytics architecture.
· Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and/or SAP ASE/IQ.
· Experience working with large or complex data sets from multiple systems.
· Experience supporting data governance, metric definitions, data quality, or reporting standards.
· Tableau Certified Data Analyst or similar certification.
· Experience with Python or R for data analysis, data preparation, or automation.
· Experience with exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, or advanced analytics.
· Experience developing dashboards or analytics solutions for operational, performance, or executive reporting.
