Summary
Eight-month contract BI Developer with a leading UK defence organisation in Warton, hybrid with three days per week onsite, paid £79.38/hour via umbrella inside IR35. Day to day involves designing, developing and maintaining BI reports and visualisations using Cognos Analytics, Framework Manager, Tableau, SQL data warehouses and ETL.
Salary: £41,500 - 71,000 per year
Requirements:- Develop in accordance with a software development lifecycle framework.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, change management, and version control software.
- Competence in developing BI solutions, including Cognos Analytics, Framework Manager, and Tableau where applicable.
- Knowledge of connecting to data sources and working with data in a Data Virtualisation (DV) environment or data warehouse SQL.
- Minimum HND in Computing.
- Cognos Analytics Report Studio Advanced certificate or an alternative report-writing certificate.
- Good understanding of data modelling using the Kimball methodology.
- Experience using ETL technologies.
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions within an iterative development environment.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to transform and present information through meaningful reports and visualisations.
