Mouser Electronics BI Developer
- Design, develop, and analyze the results of complex data queries necessary to identify data quality issues and present results in an easy-to-understand format to end users.
- Design, implement and deliver reports based on business requirements.
- Perform complex analysis of data at a very granular level and present relevant findings in business terms to business partners.
- Work closely with application architects to design a data model to support application development.
- Create efficient and accurate data sets.
- Engage with end-users to identify opportunities where data can enable them to make data-driven decisions.
- Data engineering and manipulation of large data sets.
- Administrate application and server environments.
- Perform system monitoring and technical support.
- Troubleshoot and support all BI related production processing.
- Analyze data quality and make recommendations for data preparation.
- Create data models for new projects.
- Resolve data and application production issues.
- Optimize legacy data workflows and reports.
- Create machine learning predictive and prescriptive models (supervised and unsupervised).
- Utilize cutting-edge data science techniques to build, train and optimize various predictive models based on technical specifications.
- Data engineering and manipulation of large data sets.
- Tableau Desktop Associate Certification a plus.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication and able to communicate with people at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in data, Computer Science, or related field.
