Big Data Architect
Calico CZ Salalah is seeking an innovative and experienced Big Data Architect to join our technology team in Salalah, Oman.
Location: Raysut Zone 2, Salalah, Oman
Salary: OMR 3,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage scalable big data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational efficiency.
- Architect data platforms and pipelines, manage large‑scale structured and unstructured data systems, and optimize data storage and processing performance.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with governance policies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop advanced analytics solutions, support data‑driven decision‑making, and implement modern data technologies and cloud‑based infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
- Substantial experience in big data architecture and enterprise data management.
- Strong knowledge of technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, and data integration tools.
- Experience in data governance, machine learning environments, and system scalability is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical thinking, technical leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage complex data environments and support strategic digital transformation initiatives.
