Job Summary:
The Bike Park Trail Crew is responsible for maintaining existing hiking and biking trails and building new trails on Brundage Mountain. Brundage operates lift served mountain biking starting mid-June through Labor Day. Trail work begins as soon as the snow clears in May and extends through the end of September. Come join our team and have some fun this summer!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed guest expectations through excellent trail work
- Daily tasks include rock clearing and grubbing of brush and small trees, slope and bank stabilization, re-construction of bridges
- Maintain and safely operate tools and equipment, including hand tools, small power tools, and chainsaws
- Communicate all safety concerns, work concerns, and other pertinent information to the Trails Crew leader
- Effectively comply with guidelines in emergency situations, following protocols and communication requirements
- Read, understand, and implement certain plans and schematics
