Bilingual Bookkeeper – QuickBooks Online | Remote (Peru).

Job Summary:
- We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and independent Bookkeeper based in Peru to join a U.S.-based accounting team.
- The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing bookkeeping responsibilities, strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online, and advanced English communication skills.

Position Details:
- Location: Peru (100% Remote).
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor.
- Compensation: USD 1,000/month.
- Language: Advanced English (written and spoken).

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Support month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Communicate directly with U.S.-based team members and clients.
- Independently manage assigned responsibilities and deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Practical experience using QuickBooks Online.
- Advanced conversational English (B2+/C1 preferred).
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, AP/AR, and accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with U.S.-based companies or international clients.
- Experience managing multiple accounts or client portfolios.
- Familiarity with U.S. accounting practices and documentation.

Additional Requirements:
- This position requires regular communication in English.
- Candidates must be comfortable explaining accounting processes, answering questions, and discussing their work in English.
- Shortlisted candidates will complete an English communication assessment and a technical screening focused on their bookkeeping experience.
